Expositie Isabelle Scheltjens

“De Belgische Isabelle Scheltjens, een zeer vernieuwende portretkunstenaar. Door het pointillisme op een totaal unieke eigentijdse manier toe te passen qua kleur, materie en techniek, heeft ze een subliem procedé ontwikkeld. Ze exposeert reeds over de hele wereld.
Van origine is ze schoonheidsspecialiste en hierdoor kan zij de schoonheid en gelaatsuitdrukking van een gezicht vertalen naar een sprekend portret.
HET GEZICHT, IS HET MEEST EXPRESSIEVE DEEL VAN DE MENS
Met kleine zelf gesneden stukjes gekleurd glas schildert zij als het ware een portret op een kunststof paneel. Een stukje bestaat vaak uit meerdere laagjes, welke door middel van glasfusion op elkaar versmolten zijn. Door het imposante formaat spreekt het krachtige, kleurrijke portret nog sterker.
Uniek werk van een groot talent.
De expositie is tot en met 15 mei te bezichtigen.”
